Community Service


The Discipline of Social Work and Social Policy has established long-standing teaching and research linkages with the national professional association (the Australian Association of Social Workers) and with hundreds of service-providing agencies in Western Australia through its successful BSW programme, particularly the core Fieldwork Education opportunities for students in their two long placements.

Members of staff have also developed individual working relationships with government and non-government agencies and peak bodies through membership of agency Boards and Committees of Management. Further details of this Community Service are listed below:
