Profile:

I am a full-time co-ordinating chaplain at Acacia Prison, which is the newest and largest prison in WA.  It is also the first privately run correctional facility in the State.  This is an ecumenical or inter-church position, which is to say that I have been appointed by the Council of Churches of WA and have been at Acacia from the beginning.  I have been in Anglican country parish ministry for 30 years in WA and SA nine years, three months of this was part-time parish, part-time prison chaplaincy.  In addition, I have been a full-time prison chaplain for somewhat over six years.  I am currently completing a PhD, "Communities of Faith within Prison Communities: A case study".
